Evan Bailey is a contemporary artist based in Bristol, he aims to balance his work between gentle landscapes and abstract. His work is centred on folklore, and he creates a small story behind each landscape. Bailey developed a foundation in visual storytelling and light and shadow through his photography and cinematography work, which inspire his current paintings. Over time, his artistic practice evolved from capturing real-world scenes through the lens to reimagining landscapes through a different, non physical lens.
